The Killarney Tidy Towns Committee is looking for an enthusiastic student with a good knowledge and interest in Bio-Diversity. We want to prepare a Bio-Diversity Plan for the town of Killarney and would welcome the help of a student.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position.
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
The volunteer would be tasked with looking at areas in the town of Killarney that could improve on Bio-Diversity. This information would be brought together to form a Bio-Diversity Plan for the town that would be included in the Tidy Towns Application Form 2018.
Skills required for this role:
Interest and experience in Bio-Diversity
Ability to work on own initiative.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Minimum of two hours per week required. The Student Volunteer can choose what hours suit them.
Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
