Requirements:Do you want to campaign for a just world and inspire others to do the same?
As a Trócaire volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:
Be an active citizen and make a difference campaigning for a just world
Campaign at popular events and music festivals
Meet and influence decision makers on global justice issues
Attend trainings to develop your campaigning skills
Learn about international development and the human rights sector
Learn more about the work of Trócaire around the world
Meet with like minded people
Induction and training will be provided by Trócaire and must be attended by all volunteers
Relevant expenses incurred in carrying out your volunteer role with Trócaire will be covered
This volunteer role is open to applicants aged 18 years and over
We will ask you to complete a full application form.
Face to face volunteer interviews will take place in Dublin at the end of September /October (Interview dates in Northern Ireland to be confirmed)
Volunteer Induction will take place in Dublin on October 8th (Induction dates in Northern Ireland to be confirmed)
As part of our recruitment process, two references will be required.
In line with our Safeguarding Children Policy, you will be asked to sign some policies and declarations.
