Description

The campaign encourages individuals and organisations to spread the word that having a post-secondary plan - going to college, undertaking an apprenticeship or attending a FE course - is important and achievable for all. The campaign attracted nearly 125,000 individuals participating in over 1,200 events in 27 counties during 2016 and we hope to build on this phenomenal success.

We invite you to consider the following:

Contact your former school, primary or second level, and offer to talk to the pupils about your college experience.

Sign up to give tours of your college to local schools during College Awareness Week.

Submit details about your event on our website www.collegeaware.ie to be part of the CAW community.

There are countless ways you could share the CAW message, so visit our website for ideas and resources:  www.collegeaware.ie
Follow and retweet us on Twitter @CollegeAware and like us on Facebook.com/CollegeAware

Your contribution to this nationwide campaign matters and will help to accomplish our goals, which are:

Showcasing local role models who have gone to college
Creating a college-going culture in your library or community
Helping students to become college-ready
Supporting a rise in the number of students progressing to apprenticeships, PLC, FE and HE courses
