Requirements:NUI Galway students living in Student Accomodation
Volunteers will join in a student led collaborative project to co-create, design and execute a Community Promise initiative in student residences.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position.
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Training will be provided and garda vetting will be organised by NUI Galway.
Volunteers will join in a collaborative student voice project and will be facilitated by NUI Galway staff.
Skills required for this role:
Volunteers are welcome to get involved and skills in communication and facilitation will be shared and developed through training.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
The training and the programme will be flexible to student's schedules.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
Additional screening required for this role:
Ideally volunteers would be currently living in student accommodation.
