Requirements:To attend a Volunteer Briefing prior to the event (approx. 45 minutes)
Wrap up in culture, as venues and public spaces in Limerick open their doors to host a programme of free evening entertainment, as part of an all-island celebration of arts, heritage and culture. Returning for its fourteenth year, Culture Night 2019 will take place on Fri Sep 20th. Would you like to volunteer for these events? If so this is the opportunity for you! We are looking for Volunteers to act as stewards at various venues around the city.
Culture Night promises to be a great evening of entertainment suitable for the whole family to enjoy!
Volunteers are requested to attend a volunteer briefing prior to the event on Tuesday 17th September at 6.30pm (Approximately 45 minutes) and to wear a Culture Night 2019 t-shirt (supplied by us) on the evening.
Is training provided?: Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Welcoming the public, highlighting event and guiding the public
Dissemination of Information
Stewarding assistance at locations and venues
Skills required for this role:
Comfortable dealing with the public
Comfortable being on your feet for a few hours
Good Communication skills, Friendly, personable, supportive of the event
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Friday September 20th (Evening)
Minimum time commitment per week:
3 hour p/week
