Oxfam Ireland have exciting opportunities to get involved in volunteering in the biggest fashion events of 2019, Fashion Relief.

In it's first year, Fashion Relief 2018,  hosted at the RDS, Dublin was a huge success. Powered by over 150 volunteers, raising a whooping €60,000 for people in extreme poverty.

Next year, Oxfam are going event bigger by running Fashion Relief in 3 cities adding Cork and Galway to the line-up in 2019.

The events offer the public the unique opportunity to bag a bargain from the wardrobe of Ireland’s style icons or get their hands on designer and high street must haves, all in aid of a good cause.

Be part of the action, we have lots of opportunities to volunteer; join us for a shift, join us for a day or join us for the few months preceding the events to get fully involved in the buzz of the biggest fashion event of 2019.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

We need some help in our Dublin Offices, Portview House Thorncastle Street, Ringsend, Dublin. preparing the wonderful donations of stock we received to be ready to hit the ground running at each of our three locations.

This is a great opportunity to work as part of a team, gain an insight into behind the scenes of a major fashion event or simply meet new people and have a little fun while playing your part in changing the lives of thousands of people in need.

Sorting and tagging clothing and accessories donations in prepattion for selling at Fashion Relief 2019 events.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Opportunities to volunteer Mon -Friday 09:00-17:00 commencing 21st Jan - 29th March

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
