The role centres on providing high-quality, student-focused engagement, information, and support across a busy, fast-paced campus environment.

Hub Staff operate the F7W information hubs, where they welcome students, answer questions, and guide them on topics such as timetables, campus navigation, academic supports, wellbeing services, and university life. They help create a warm and approachable atmosphere, ensuring that every student feels heard, supported, and reassured.

In addition to in-person support, Hub Staff contribute to online engagement by preparing content for social media, assisting with digital campaigns, and sharing key weekly themes. The role involves teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, as staff respond to queries, adapt to daily challenges, and maintain a strong understanding of campus resources. Overall, F7W Hub Staff play an essential part in fostering belonging and ensuring students have a positive, informed, and confident start to their academic journey.
