Description

See Change, the national mental health stigma reducing organisation, runs the Green Ribbon campaign for the month of May each year. Green Ribbons, as lapel badges, are worn to promote mental health awareness and show that the wearer is prepared to "start the conversation" around mental health. This year green ribbons will be handed out on Shop Street, Galway on Saturday 6th and 20th between 11:00 - 14:00.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Handing out green ribbons to members of the public.

Welcoming disposition

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Either Saturday 6th or 20th, pick an hour between 11:00 -14:00. Campaign is running throughout May 2017.

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
