What is the Voluntary Homework Club Scheme all about?
•    Helping Second level students with Homework 
•    Volunteering opportunity in a City DEIS secondary School 
•    2-hour commitment, 1 afternoon a week for 7 weeks 
•    Homework Club runs in Semester 1&2 

What is the Aim of the Voluntary Homework Club Scheme?
•    UCC students provide academic supports to our linked City DEIS schools. 
•    The UCC PLUS+ Programme aims to foster better relations between UCC and DEIS linked schools
•    Encourage 2nd level school students to consider onward progression to third level particularly where there is little tradition of progression onto higher education.
Why should I apply?
•    Participation in 2 Homework Clubs now qualifies for the UCC Works Internship Programme!
•    Boost your C.V – You will learn valuable skills
•    Great experience working with young people in a school setting – this is of particular interest to anyone considering teaching!  
At what level will I be tutoring?
Tutors will be assisting Junior Cycle students (1st-3rd years) with their homework. 
What Subjects can I help with?
Students may require help in:
Maths, Irish, English, French, Spanish, History, Geography, Science, Business, Religion and CSPE
How will I get there?
UCC Plus will arrange transport from UCC to the school and back to UCC. 
When will I start?   
Semester 1 - Week commencing 30th September and finish week commencing 18th November 
Semester 2 – January 2020 – March 2020
