Description

The Open House Dublin festival will run during the weekend of 12-14th October with events and an information hub in the week leading to the event (8-14th October).

OHD volunteers are public facing roles and will be placed at our main events during the weekends and help out on weekdays. The role involves welcoming visitors, managing queues, following tours, assisting the public and being mindful of the health and safety of all visitors during opening hours. This year we will be offering a variety of volunteer positions throughout the OHD programme giving you the chance to be more involved in OHD. We’re looking for: visitor facing roles such as steward, info hub attendants, volunteer area managers and tour guides.

As a OHD Volunteer you’re a IAF ambassador and will engage with architectural enthusiasts such as yourself.

Full training (one hour induction) and a Volunteer pack will be provided. This role suits outgoing, reliable and motivated volunteers. Applicants must commit a minimum of 4 hours and attend our volunteer session training.

If you assist us for 3-4 hours during the weekend of Open House, in return you will be given priority access to buildings (skip the queue for our volunteers) and a party will be thrown in your honour.
