The volunteer will work with the St. John's Senior Citizens Club Committee to organise activities for a group of seniors that meet in the Good Shepherd Convent in Pennywell every Thursday from 2-5. The group is mixed in terms of age and capacity but overall is active and independently minded. The group has decided that it would be of great benefit to host a volunteer to assist the committee in a range of tasks, including: implementing games and activities, serving refreshments, and general support tasks, particularly light physical tasks, such as moving chairs etc.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position.
