Description

TU Dublin Societies and Student Volunteering Office are forming a community of students at any stage in their time at TU Dublin, from any campus, home or international, part time or full tiem etc. who are interested in Volunteering. We will facilitate the group  to meet once/ week and brainstorm on ideas related to volunteering and learn from each other along the way.

We aim to:
- find imaginative and innovative ways of working together
- develop projects led by our students to support charities and community organisations remotely and from home during the Covid crisis
- foster a collaborative and supportive environment for students are already involved in volunteering and for those who want to learn more about it

The charity sector has been hit badly by Covid and anything we can do help raise awareness, support, fundraise etc. will be really appreciated.

Forming and joining a community like this is also a great way to meet like minded students, even if it is soley online for term 1.
You will have the opportunity to gain skills related to problem solving and team working and can log your hours through our portal for reward and recognition purposes.

We are really looking forward to working with you to promote and pursue volunteering, and making things happen despite the situation and restrictions on daily life that we are dealing with.
