Teach Fáilte operates an open door policy. This means that the doors are open from 10:30am to 4:30pm & students are allowed and welcome to use the facililty; for chats, study, tea/coffee, lunch, rest, meeting new friends etc.
The role of the Student Volunteer:
Student volunteers are expected to uphold the ethos that defines Teach Fáilte as a student friendly & student focused service. As welcome and hospitality host it is important to be aware that all students using the service have different needs. We are non-judgemental and every student is treated with the respect and dignity. That means that we treat each student the way we like to be treated.
Volunteers are needed Monday to Friday between 12.30 - 2pm
Is training provided?: Yes
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
