The Afforestation Project is a not-for-profit organisation & Irish charity mobilised with the aim of fighting climate change by planting trees.

So far, we have designed a 'communal plantation model' which sees county councils collaborate with local communtiy groups to carry out and manage large-scale tree plantations. In this system, our volunteers act as the 'middle man' which assure that plantations are carried out smoothly.

We have also designed & developed an online tree-plantation managament platform called the 'Forest Network'. This tool helps all tree-planting movements that set out to fight climate change to promote themselves online, raise donations, recruit tree planting coordinators & manage their plantation.

We are currently recruiting tree plantation coordinators who will join our growing organisation and help us fight climate change. All volunteers will have an option to plant trees at least once a month during planting season. You will have the option to plant trees at the events of our partner organisations, such as Easy-Treesy, as well as planting at our own plantation in the South Dublin area.
