Requirements:All volunteers welcome!
Volutneers with the Conference lead on major aspects of the event:
- publicity and marketing
- abstract review
- conference theme and keynote speakers
Is training provided?: Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Volunteers attend bi-weekly meetings to plan and prepare for the Annual Research Conference.
Skills required for this role:
Communication and teamwork skills are vital.
Training on conference abstract reviewing, and presenting will be available.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Once signed up to volunteer, students will be asked to attend the bi-weekly meetings and contribute to the conference planning. Also the day of the conference its all hands on deck!
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
