SUSIs are 5-week short-term, academic programs providing undergraduate student leaders with a deeper understanding of the U.S., while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills. Coursework and classroom activities will be complemented by educational travel, site visits, leadership activities, and volunteer opportunities within the local community. The programs includes an academic residency component of approximately 4 weeks and a domestic study tour of approximately 1 week.
The application period for the 2020 SUSIs Undergraduate Awards will open 25 November 2019 and will close on 6 January 2020 at 16:00.
Highly motivated 1st to 3rd year undergraduate students will be invited to apply for the Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSIs) for European Student Leaders taking place June/July 2020.
Participants are expected to be highly motivated 1st to 3rd year undergraduate students (where 3rd year is not final year) from colleges, universities, and other institutions of higher education. Fields of study may include the sciences, social sciences, humanities, education, business, and other professional fields.
