About Us:We support people with intellectual disabilities engage in and enjoy their community
Brothers of Charity Services Ireland provide quality services to meet the needs of over 1,000 people with intellectual disabilities throughout Galway city and county. We support people to be active in their local community, to make choices about their lives and to have ordinary life experiences.
Volunteering is an important role within these services. Our volunteer programme is called Connect. Our volunteers enrich the lives of the people we support by bringing friendship and fun into their lives.
That’s Life is an award-winning arts and personal development programme of the Brothers of Charity Services, Galway and runs Bounce Club Night once a month.
Bounce Club Night is a club night for people with intellectual disabilities. Our aim is to create a fun, safe and accessible space for young adults with intellectual disabilities to socialise, listen to music and dance in a club environment. All our DJs and VJs with intellectual disabilities are supported by experienced Galway DJs and VJs and play a wide range of music including pop, rock, hip hop and rnb.
Bounce Clubnight Volunteers assist with the event on the night and support those attending to have an enjoyable time. Bounce club night takes place once a month on a Monday night in the Róisín Dubh, Galway city.
