Description

As a volunteer with Trócaire you are the voice organisation in your community and at events. 

You will be talking to the public and Trócaire’s work and issues of global justice at events, in schools, if you wish to. You can share videos, posts and social media to spread awareness.

you Will learn, take part in promoting and take action on our two major campaigns on climate justice and human rights for Palestine.

you will be part of our team that shares ideas on how to promote global justice with general public.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

As a volunteer with Trócaire you will be invited to:

- learn about our work overseas and our campaigns work in Ireland through reading articles, policy papers, watching videos and attending meetings and webinars  

- share and promote Trócaire’s work on social media and with friends and family if possible  

- take part in virtual monthly team meetings to discuss ideas, upcoming events, etc

- support our main events, demonstrations for Palestine and climate justice, St Patrick’s Day parade, Christmas Markets and more!

Details of time commitment needed for role:
This is a flexible opportunity. Volunteers will be part of a team and of the decision making for our activities. Volunteers receive emails/texts with volunteering opportunities as they come along.

Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
