Description

We are looking for volunteers to help us with Buzzfest: Phibsboro's community sustainability and biodiversity festival. 

Roles include stewarding, set up of gazebos and stands, and clean up after the event. We are also looking for volunteers who could photograph/video the event as it's happening. This festival is now in it's ninth year! It will be located in and around Phibsboro Libary and gardens and in and around the Panama Scout Hall located behind the library. The area is well served by bus and Luas green line. The location is on the NCR at Blacquire Bridge.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

• Stewarding
• Set up of event (including putting up gazebos and stands
• Clean up of event (taking down gazebos and stands)
• Video/photos of event while it's happening

The volunteers have a choice of roles depending on their time commitments for the day.

• Stewarding: happy to assist the public and give directions
• Video/photography: interest in creating images using own phone to share with us after the event for Buzzfest follow-up content and provide gallery for next year's event on our website (any images used will be credited to creator)
• Set up or clean up: happy to pitch in where needed to move equipment/bags/gazebos

Details of time commitment needed for role:
The event is on Saturday 4 Oct and lasts from 12.30pm to 4pm. Set up starts at 11am with clean up at the end of the event.

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hours p/week
