Cadet Leaders play a vital role in supporting the development and wellbeing of young members aged 10–17. As a Cadet Leader, you will help plan and deliver weekly Wednesday evening training sessions (6:45–8:00 PM) in first aid, practical skills, and personal development. You’ll also assist at occasional weekend events, duties, and competitions (attendance at all events is not required, as meetings are the priority).

Details of time commitment needed for role:
During Onboarding Process attendance at Senior Meetings is required between 8.10 pm and 9.30 pm (for induction training and observation period).
Once approved, you can then attend Cadet training on Wednesday evenings between 6.45 pm and 8 pm for a probationary period.
An offer of invitation may be extended to attend for other local and community events as required (transport may be provided).
You may be required to attend some training courses infrequently on weekends in the early stage including Youth Leadership and these dates will be provided in advance (we do aim to facilitate members, where possible).
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week

The Onboarding Process may take some time to complete, therefore, we are seeking genuinely interested volunteers for this opportunity.
