On Saturday November 15th Trócaire is joining the Stop Climate Chaos national climate demo in Dublin city.

It has never been more crucial to take action on climate change to stop all out climate chaos.

We need to join together demanding that the Government deliver faster and fairer climate action.

A free bus from Galway and Cork is organised to ease the transport from these 2 cities.

Is training provided?:Yes

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

- From Friday 7th November, in Galway (and other cities, please enquire when applying): help with giving away leaflets in the streets, by the train and coach stations and other key places

- Between now and the 15th November: Create your own placard (on reused carboard, fabric or other eco-friendly material) to voice your concern over the state of the planet and the urgently to act on climate

- Saturday 15th November at 1pm: Gather at the Garden of Remembrance and march together with thousands of people representing over 50 organisations and shout climate justice slogans.

- Have Fun!

Details of time commitment needed for role:
A few hours on the 15th November A few hours in the days before the event if willing to help with giving away leaflets and making placards
