Description

We are looking for energetic, motivated, and passionate young people to help support the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind in your local community. Our local Branches (groups of volunteers) help the charity through organising fundaising events, school talks, local advocacy campaigns, and supporting our clients. We will connect you with our local volunteers, clients, and of course our dogs, and we will provide training, volunteer clothing and equipment.

Our volunteering opportunities are completely flexible - you can give as much or as little time as you are able, and there are chances to take on more responsibility if this is something that you are interested in.

We welcome new ideas and encourage our volunteers to get involved in every aspect of our community roles. There will also be opportunities to improve event and project management, customer service, accounting, and communications skills. We are also happy to provide references.

Is training provided?:Yes
