About Us:Our mission is to make nightlife safer for DCU students.
DCU Students' Union is working with SafeGigs to create an ambassador programme. The aim of this programme is to promote safer nights out and social events within the DCU community.
This voluntary programme will include different trainings such as Bystander Intervention Training and basic First Aid.
The Students' Union is facilitating this programme as well as taking part, because it is important to us that this is for students, by students.
The aim is to have ambassadors visible at all large night time events, creating an environment that encourages safety and inclusion.
Is training provided?:Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Being a visible, friendly face around events.
Man a wellbeing station, which will include water, contraception, tests and snacks.
Signpost students to services e.g. counselling

You will contribute to making DCU a safer place for students.

Evening events, sign up for them as you please.
