Description

Are you confident with software applications like MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familar with Canvas, YourSpace and other local technologies and like helping other people?

If you are, then this is the perfect volunteering opportunity for you. 

Opportunity to mentor other students one to one in person to help them overcome the challenges they are having with technology.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

As a volunteer you will be asked to attend at an agreed time - likely on a Friday 2-5pm  to help other students with their challenge using technology. 

Need to be friendly, helpful and encouraging. 

Benefits of Volunteering:

Good experience problem solving and supporting use of technology

Great opportunity to meet other students and hear other another perspective.

A really nice thing to do to help out another student.

 

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Minimum 2 hr slot between Friday 2-5pm or another time to be agreed.

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hours p/week
