Join us at Engineering Our Future: Family Fun Day on Saturday, 28st Feb 2026, from 10am–4pm at the Alice Perry Engineering Building, University of Galway.
This free event, part of Engineers Week 2026, is packed with hands-on activities, exciting science shows, creative workshops, and inspiring talks for all ages. From fiery chemistry demonstrations and buzzing bee science to robotics, 3D printing, and sustainable city design—there’s something for everyone!
Volunteers will play a key role in making this day unforgettable by helping families explore the fascinating world of engineering. If you’re passionate about STEM and want to share that excitement, we’d love to have you on board!

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Volenteers will help out with demonstrations, stewarding, crowd control. Exact tasks will be assigned on the day. Lunch provided.
