About Us:The Limerick Early Music Festival brings music from the Medieval to the Baroque to Limerick, welcoming everyone to the music of ages past.




Description

The Limerick Early Music Festival (LEMF) seeks team members for its Volunteer Staff. LEMF Volunteers are an essential part of the festival and help artists and audiences alike feel welcome at the many events held each year. Positions vary, and include:

  • Event Stewarding/Ushers
  • Marketing & Publicity
  • Backstage & Production Assistants
  • Media/AV production
  • Runners

Do you love music and the arts? Do you have skills and talents you'd like to share? Do you want festivals to be accessible and welcoming to all? Then we want to hear from you!

Is training provided?:Yes

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

May include but not be limited to:

  • Ushering at concerts, handing out programmes
  • Assisting stage manager or production manager as needed
  • Running short errands
  • Assisting with social media
  • Distributing posters or flyers

Benefits of Volunteering:

Tickets to festival events, festival t-shirt (stock permitting), tea table facility

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Min 1 block of the following (no maximum) 18 March Wednesday morning/afternoon or afternoon/evening 19 March Thursday morning/afternoon or afternoon/evening 20 March Friday morning/afternoon or afternoon/evening 21 March Saturday morning/afternoon or afternoon/evening 22 March Sunday morning/afternoon or afternoon/evening

Minimum time commitment per week:
5 hours p/week
