About Us:We work with local partners in the world’s most at-risk communities and with people in Ireland to tackle the causes of poverty and injustice

Description

We're really excited to be at the Galway Christmas market again this year from Friday 5th December until Thursday 11th December, to sell amazing crafts from our country programmes.

The main items will be:

- Wooden ornaments from Bethlehem: these ornaments are made by women and men in workshops in Bethlehem. Because of the war in Gaza, the workers had found themselves out of work. Buying an ornament gives hope and a sustainable income to families in Palestine.

- Worry dolls from Guatemala made by women supported by Trocaire in small communities suffering from the effects of climate change.

- Crafts from Malawi made by women supported by our partners.

- Christmas cards made in Ireland

- Gifts of Change can bring real hope and opportunity to families living in poverty, and a chance to create lasting, positive change. All the gifts are sourced locally and a sustainable way to give a present to a loved one at Christmas.
