Description

No experience necessary - just a desire to make Aungier St Courtyard a greener, healthier and more pleasant space for all.

We are looking for students to help with gardening tasks to begin to develop our planned Micro Biodiversity Garden at TU Dublin Aungier St. Courtyard.

You will be supported by staff and community partners directing the operations and equipment will be provided.

Key dates:

• Friday 6th February from 10am - clearing the planters 
• Thursday 12th February - exact time TBC - planting pocket forest greenery

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

On the first day - Friday 6th February - volunteers will work in a group to clear space in the existing planters for new greenery to be planted on Thursday 12th February.

You will pull up shrubbery and weeds.

Appropriate clothing is needed - it will be mucky work!

You will meet like-minded individuals who are also keen to support sustainable growing practices and more environmentally friendly habits and hobbies.

We welcome people of all backgrounds and abilities - absolutely no experience necessary.

The garden will help you to gain an environmental education through hands-on experience for those who want to not only learn more but do more.
