Description

The Language Learning Hub (LLH) is a gateway to enhancing language proficiency and cultural understanding!  It is a busy support and resource centre.
At the LLH, we are dedicated to supporting the dynamic landscape of language learning, teaching, and research within the School of Modern Languages and Applied Languages at the University of Limerick.

LLH services are also offered to the wider campus community through outreach programmes, evening classes, and events for visiting groups.
Our facilities and services go beyond the boundaries of traditional classrooms, providing an immersive environment where students can interact, practise, and develop intercultural competence.

We also engage with schools (primary and secondary) to promote language learning.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Are you an enthusiastic language speaker and learner? Do you want to share your love of languages and cultures with others? Then, this volunteering opportunity is for you.

We are looking for students to help out with activities during schools visits or open days (to act as guides or talk to groups of students for example). We are also looking for people who could do a couple of hours in the LLH (administration) or who could help us with social media content creation.
