About Us:Peer Mentoring is a more senior student supporting a first year student group.




Description

Peer Mentoring has been up and running at St Angelas for many year. Volunteers receive training and engage in opportunities to connect with their mentee group - a group of incoming First Year students. 

Is training provided?:Yes

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Attend the training

Set up a welcome session for your first year mentee group in Sept/Oct

Set up a message group on a social media platform for your group

Invite your mentee group to the Mentor Lunch in Sept/Oct

Be available for mentor-mentee group sessions during the year

Message your group regularly especially before placement, exams etc.
