Description

The volunteer secretary is the administrative core of the Postgraduate Society. This person is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the committee and the society as a whole. 

The secretary manages communication, maintains official records, and supports the chairperson in all administrative duties. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual who wants to develop strong administrative, communication, and management skills.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

• Work closely with the chairperson to prepare meeting agendas and support them in the day-to-day running of the society.

• Keep track of action points and follow up with committee members to ensure tasks are completed.

• Communicate updates and important information to the postgraduates of ATU.

• Assist in setting up events and workshops for the postgraduates.
