The volunteer treasurer is the financial guardian of the Postgraduate Society. This person is responsible for all aspects of the society's finances, ensuring that it operates on a sound and transparent financial footing. 

The treasurer manages the budget, keeps meticulous records, and provides the committee with clear, up-to-date reports to guide their decisions. This role is crucial for anyone looking to develop their financial management, budgeting, and accountability skills.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

• Create and manage the society's annual budget in collaboration with the committee.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all expenditure.

• Provide regular financial updates and reports to the committee during meetings.

• Ensure all financial activities comply with university and student union regulations.
