Description

Established in 1995, Bealtaine is one of Ireland’s largest co-operative festivals and the world’s first national celebration of creativity in older age. The Festival brings people together to foster and inspire creativity among all of us as we age and to promote the skills, experiences and exposure that can lead to a rich creative life for all older people.

 

 We are looking for a Social Media Volunteer who will be responsible for the monitoring and      posting of the Bealtaine Festival Social Media accounts (Facebook and Instagram). The role will commence in Mid-March and will finish in early June.  A full list of responsibilities is available upon request.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

We require the Social Media Volunteer to:

  • Dedicate 1-2 hours per week from the middle of March to early June to schedule, create, post and monitor on our Social Media accounts. These hours are flexible and can be delivered remotely. They may be required to attend an occasional team meeting.
  • Attend the Tea Party in Dublin on the afternoon of Sunday 3rd May.
  • Be available to attend events over the course of the weekend from the 28th to 30th May inclusive. These events will occur in Dubin City.
  • Be over the age of 18

Please note that there is a limited budget available for expenses

Details of time commitment needed for role:
The person will need to spend 1-2 hours per week on the Social Media aspect of the role and will need to be available to attend certain events on 3rd May and 28th - 30th May.

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hours p/week
