About Us:Special Olympics Ireland transforms lives through inclusive sport and community for people with intellectual disabilities.
The Ireland Summer Games 2026 will take place from 18–21 June 2026 across multiple venues in Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area.
This is Ireland’s largest inclusive sporting event, bringing together thousands of athletes, coaches, volunteers and supporters from across the country.
We are recruiting enthusiastic volunteers to support a wide range of roles, including:
Volunteers are central to the success of the Games and play a vital role in creating a positive, inclusive and memorable experience for our athletes and their families.
No previous experience is required. All volunteers will receive role-specific training, support on the day, and be part of a welcoming team environment.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a major national sporting event while contributing to an inclusive and meaningful cause.

Volunteers can sign up for one or more days during the Games (18–21 June 2026). Full-day availability is required for any day selected.

Volunteers will be required to complete an online registration process.
Some roles may require Garda Vetting and safeguarding checks. Full guidance and support will be provided.
