About Us:




Description

UL AccessCampus supports and encourages pupils from Limerick to enter higher education.

Fundamental to this is our Study Club and we welcome your support to provide assistance across a range of subjects at both Senior and Junior cycle.

We are currently recruiting volunteer tutors to support our Study Club members as they prepare for Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations.

Is training provided?:Yes

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

  • Creating a genuine connection with 3rd level education.
  • Fostering 2nd level students potential and academic ability.
  • Tutoring in subjects at Senior & Junior Cycle, ensuring that they understand key concepts and ca apply their knowledge effectively.

Benefits of Volunteering:

  • Developing communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Contributing to Study Club goals and objectives.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays between 5pm and 8pm.

Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
