We are currently updating the technical infrastructure of www.StudentVolunteer.ie to improve security, user experience and expand for further engagement. As part of this upgrade, there are a few important changes that will affect Student and Volunteer Involving Organisations (CSO) accounts:
Why update the technology? Growing the number of potential Volunteers
We are excited to announce we are growing and we now include ATU and DCU students in addition to UCC, UL, UG, UCD, TU Dublin. It means volunteer projects can reach even more people who will volunteer, learn about organisations and be more aware of your community work and volunteering.
What happens to your old account? Archive & Data Retention
In line with GDPR compliance, we will be clearing archived data from the platform.
If you have any information or records in your archive that you wish to keep, please download and save them before 15th August 2025.
We understand this may require some preparation, and we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition.
