Description

Our charity shop plays a vital role in raising funds to support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the West of Ireland. Every donated item sold helps fund Galway Simon's services and every volunteer is part of that mission. Join our team as a Charity Shop Assistant in one of our charity shops in Galway - Sean Mulvoy Road or Sea Road.

Is training provided?:Yes

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

• Assisting customers and providing great service
• Sorting, pricing, and merchandising donated goods
• Organising stock in the back room and on the shop floor
• Operating the till (if comfortable, training provided)

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Our shops are open Monday to Saturday, from 10:00am to 5:00pm, and shifts can be arranged to suit your availability. Whether you can help for a morning, an afternoon, or a full day, we’re happy to work around your schedule.

Minimum time commitment per week:
4 hours p/week
