About Us:Age Action supports and advocates for equality and human rights for all older people.




Description

Welcome visitors to the community hub and respond to their queries (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30AM to 1PM).
 

  • Assist in organising events for older people in the community hub.
  • Set up tea and coffee table at the hub, ensuring that tea and coffee are available at all times during opening hours of the hub.
  • Oversee activities in the community hub ensuring that it provides a welcoming environment for all visitors.
  • Assist in promoting the community hub.
  • Maintain a record of community hub visitors and queries.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Meet and greet volunteers to the Hub.

Benefits of Volunteering:

Supporting Galway local community.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30AM to 1PM

Minimum time commitment per week:
4 hours p/week
