Description

The EMERGE Student Ambassador Force (SAF) is a network of student representatives from the nine EMERGE partner universities.

SAF ambassadors contribute to shaping the future of European higher education through participation in cross-border events, student engagement initiatives, and alliance-wide activities.

Work Package 8 focuses on Resilience, Sustainability and Inclusion.

Volunteers can expect to

  • Promote the EMERGE values to raise awareness of the alliance with UL staff & students
  • Support & Organise EMERGE events in UL and online. 
  • Promote Mobility & EMERGE alliance through social posts. 
  • Contribute to key alliance activities such as the Emerge Hub and the Emerge Collaborative Call. 

This is a new opportunity and has potential to be expanded to other work packages within the EMERGE project.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Key Responsibilities defined in the EMERGE Grant Agreement include

• Represent UL and EMERGE at European events, student forums, and online campaigns

• Contribute to the co-creation of the EMERGE degree and joint teaching innovations

• Support the creation and dissemination of mobility testimonials and success stories

• Participate in immersive student events and workshops to promote mobility and inclusion

• Serve on panels awarding EMERGE teaching prizes

• Collaborate with student associations across the alliance to enhance student life

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Events would usually be scheduled for daytime activity.

Additional screening required for this role::
Application form EMERGE project Team to shortlist SAF-interested candidates based on motivation, mobility experience, and intercultural mindset. Additional forms will also be required to be completed.
