About our GLAS @ TU Dublin Community Garden:

Established within an elevated corner of the 56-acre TU Dublin Blanchardstown campus, the GLAS at TU Dublin community garden is a collaborative garden project between Technological University Dublin, Global Action Plan and Fingal County Council. The garden is half an acre in size and is accessible for a range of users of all abilities.

We want to ensure our students are involved and benefitting from the garden.
Volunteering and getting stuck in for some seed, soil and soul nurturing activity is an excellent way to spend time away from screens and outdoors.

All are welcome to come and visit the garden and students, staff and the local community are encouraged to take some time during their work or study day to step out into nature and explore the garden.

Is training provided?:Yes

Benefits of Volunteering:

Volunteers are essential to the development of our GLAS @ TU Dublin Community Garden.

You will learn about gardening and gain confidence with your skills of planting and growing.

You will meet like-minded individuals who are also keen to support sustainable growing practices and more environmentally friendly habits and hobbies.

We welcome people of all backgrounds and abilities.

The garden will help you to gain an environmental education through hands-on experience for those who want to not only learn more but do more.

Each seed we sow, each workshop we host and each volunteer hour we log builds toward a sustainable future, rooted in community, inclusion and practical learning.
We know you - our students - will feel good when you are directly involved and contributing to our garden.
