Are you a music enthusiast with a passion for writing? Do you love diving deep into albums, discovering new bands, and uncovering the hidden stories behind songs, artworks, and live performances? If so, we’d love to have you to join our team at The Hidden Track!

Who We’re Looking For:
- someone with a passion for (rock) music, culture and online writing or publishing.
- Comfortable working with Wordpress
- Reliable, proactive, with an eye for interesting stories and willingness to keep a steady flow of content.
- Able to commit for about  3-4 hours/week

Whether you’re into classic rock, metal, punk, or the latest underground acts, we need passionate contributors. At the moment we need help keeping our news section up to date through the week...

What you’ll do:
- Help us keep our News section fresh and up-to-date by sourcing, writing or editing stories about rock music and related culture.
- Upload content to our website (wordpress), add headlines, images, links and ensure correct formatting
- Work with the team to schedule posts, monitor activity and identify trends worth covering
- look for interesting news and relay them, or write article to relay press releases we receive
- if inspiration strikes, you are welcome to write reviews occasionaly and join our fortnightly publications

- A love for music and a genuine enthusiasm to share your knowledge.

We do this purely for the love of music. There’s no financial retribution for anyone, we are all doing this on our spare time. We also welcome contributors from all backgrounds and cultures. Music is universal, and we want to help our audience discover sounds they might never have encountered otherwise. Share the music from where you’re from and help us expand our horizons!

No prior writing experience is required, though it would be very appreciated. If you have the passion and the curiosity to discover new things, we’d love to have you!

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Details of time commitment needed for role:
a few hours every week, to look for news, write the articles and have them ready for publishing. we also have occasional calls to organise our fortnight publications.

Minimum time commitment per week:
4 hours p/week
