About Us:We endeavour to support families and individuals with Down Syndrome throughout their life.
Down Syndrome Limerick is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support the Tour de Burren charity cycle, organised by Conor O’Dea, taking place in the Burren on June 20th. Hours and location for this to be confirmed. Students will require their own transport to get to and from the event.
This exciting event will bring together cyclists from across the region to enjoy the stunning scenery of the Burren while raising awareness and support for people with Down syndrome and their families. It’s a great opportunity to get involved in a positive community event, meet new people, and make a meaningful contribution to an important local cause.
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Volunteers will play an important role in helping the day run smoothly, assisting with tasks such as registration, welcoming participants, guiding cyclists, and supporting the Down Syndrome Limerick team throughout the event.

This event will run on Saturday the 20th of June
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week

A phone conversation will be had with anyone who volunteers before the event.
