Description

Flossie and the Beach Cleaners want you to compete against other university students in Ireland to see how can collect the most waste on the beach! 

We need volunteers and a team lead. You can indicate here if you would like to lead a team or just go along with the group!

Time and date will be chosen by the group of volunteers interested.  A Dublin beach will also be selected.

Prizes for top university team! We will send out our cleanup pack which consists of: Reusable Hemp Bags, Weighing Scales, council bags for transfer of rubbish...and a prize for the student that is deemed the winner in the team!

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

• Find a location close to University/College (if you need help with this, let us know!)
• All meet at said time and location
• Glove and bag up 
• Clean the area for 1 hour 
• Take lots of fun photos of the team and the strange items found
• Weigh your rubbish
• Transfer the rubbish from our reusable hemp sacks to council bags (these will be supplied in your cleanup pack we send you)
• Leave the bags by a public bin, if there isn't a public bin let us know and we will inform the council where you have left the bags.
