Anam Croí is a Galway-based charity working to support older people in our community through social care, connection and purpose-built housing. Our Day Centre in Claregalway provides a warm, welcoming space where older adults enjoy meals, activities and companionship.
The Anam Croí Charity Shop raises vital funds for this work and we’re currently looking for Voluntary Shop Assistants to join our friendly team.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a retail setting, meet new people and contribute to a meaningful cause. Volunteers will help serve customers, keep the shop floor looking great and assist with day-to-day tasks that keep the shop running smoothly.
No previous experience is needed, just a friendly attitude, a willingness to help and reliability.
Your time makes a real difference and every item sold in our shop supports the work of Anam Croí Day Centre.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
The time commitment is flexible. Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm. We can arrange a time that suits each volunteer and agree a duration for their voluntary role.
Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
