Role Description:
Join the Walk in Pink volunteer team and help support the National Breast Cancer Research Institute’s national fundraising campaign. This year, over 1,500 people across Ireland will take part in Walk in Pink to raise vital funds for breast cancer research.
As part of our volunteer team, you’ll play an important hands-on role in preparing and sending Walk in Pink registration packs. Each participant receives a special Walk in Pink hat and information letter — and your help ensures they get everything they need to take part and show their support.
Volunteer Tasks Include:
Packing registration envelopes with Walk in Pink hats and letters.
Dropping envelopes to the post office for mailing.
Packing and Posting Walk in Pink Team Fundraising Packs
Location:
National Breast Cancer Research Institute Office, located in the Symptomatic Breast Unit at University Hospital Galway
Time Commitment:Two-hour time slots available
Days: Thursdays: 10 a.m.–12 p.m. or 12–2 p.m. Fridays: 10 a.m.–12 p.m. or 12–2 p.m.
Ideally, we’re looking for volunteers who can commit two hours per week for 3–4 weeks, but one-time volunteering is also very welcome.
