Go DreamSpace is a STEM Youth Event!

Are you interested in STEM or tech? Do you enjoy working with young people and sparking their curiosity? We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our upcoming Foróige Go DreamSpace. This iniative supports young people in a rural area to develop their own projects using micro:bits and showcase at a big event on April 22nd in Áras Inis Gluaire, Belmullet.

- DreamSpace Force Creaters - flexible hours in the weeks leading up to the event supporting planning and logistics.

- DreamSpace Force Makers - starting at the event on the 22nd of April at 9am setting up 

Is training provided?:Yes

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

• Support the planning team in the weeks up to the event
• Asist with registration and welcoming attendees
• Direct guests and answer basic hosting questions
• Support various activity stations
• Assist with setting up and managing interactive exhbits
• Share your enthusiam and inspire future innovators and creators
• Help with event logistics, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all attendees.

Full training and support will be given and renumeration for any expenses.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Flexible over 3 weeks. An estimated 20 hours in total.

Minimum time commitment per week:
5 hours p/week
