Wish Week, taking place from Monday 24th – Saturday 29th April 2023 is Make-A-Wish’s signature fundraising week globally. To support the day, Make-A-Wish® Ireland is appealing to generous students to sign up to become Wish Week volunteers to support a nationwide fundraising drive on Wish Day, Friday 28th April 2023.

As well as raising important funds to help Make-A-Wish grant magical wishes to children living with life-threatening illnesses, it raises awareness and acknowledges the bravery of wish children and their families.

With a fundraising target of €100,000, Dunnes Stores has given permission to Make-A-Wish Ireland to carry out bucket collections at their stores. Collections will be held across two four-hour blocks from 9-1pm and 1-5pm on 28th April at the outlined locations. All volunteers will be provided with training, t-shirts and collection buckets.

These children and their families need the hope, joy and lasting memories that a wish can bring. With over 200 children still on their wish journey and after a challenging few years for fundraising, Make-A-Wish wants to make 2023 the most successful year yet.
