About Us:We are a research group in the Bernal Institute in UL who make sustainable materials that generate electricity
We are looking for volunteers to help us run the scavenger hunt for five hours in the Crescent Shopping Centre. This will include running the registration desk, encouraging people to take part, putting up the QR codes, and giving out prizes. There will be a one hour optional briefing session on UL campus the week before to give background knowledge on the scientific content of the scavenger hunt and answer any questions. The briefing session can also be counted towards your volunteer hours, but if can't make it this info can be given during the setup period of 10-11am.
Event Description for Particpants
Help us test the technology of the future! Take part in our scavenger hunt all around the Crescent Shopping Centre to learn about electricity, win science prizes, and help us with our research on charging electronics using footsteps. Suitable for all ages! Register yourself or a team next to the information desk anytime between 11am and 2:30 pm .

Should enjoy working as part of a team, and talking to people of all ages. The Crescent Shopping Centre on a Saturday will be a loud, face-paced environment. Volunteers should be enthusiastic and up for a fun but tiring couple of hours! No science background required.
