Description

 Volunteer Opportunity – Gateway to Employment Project

Doras is seeking a dedicated volunteer to support our Gateway to Employment Project for 2 days a week. The volunteer will play a key role in helping clients prepare for employment and access opportunities.

 

Main tasks include:

  • Drafting and reviewing CVs and cover letters
  • Providing guidance on the Irish job market and recruitment processes
  • Supporting clients with employment advice and interview preparation
  • Assisting in the planning and organisation of events
  • Building strong connections with participants to support their career journey

Is training provided?:Yes

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:


Main tasks include:

  • Drafting and reviewing CVs and cover letters

Requirements:

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Strong knowledge of the Irish working environment and recruitment practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to support events
