The Fota Christmas event occurs from 22nd November to 23rd December. Volunteers usually help out for 2-4 hour shifts over a day or number of days. It is on over both weekdays and weekends. There will be charity staff members there at all times also. It is lots of fun and very festive.
The role involves mingling with the public, selling of raffle tickets to raise funds and selling of some charity merchandise. It is an outdoor event with a Christmas market vibe so we do urge volunteers to wrap up warm!
